What the price is

Every figure on this site is a market estimate from the source named beside it, dated where it is shown. A price belongs to a finish — a foil and a plain copy of one printing are different money, and a card’s page shows each. Condition is yours to judge: a played copy sells for less than the feed’s number, and nothing here appraises the card in your hand or guarantees what anybody will pay.

Reading the code on a Magic card

Along the bottom edge, on the left. Two short lines: the collector number, sometimes over the set total, and under it the set code beside the language. The List is the exception — those cards carry the set they were reprinted from, as MRD 59. Find a card by its code takes that line for any of the five games, and explains what to do when a card prints none.
